Blog and Web SEO How-to Guide

Honestly, it’s been a long time since I wrote an article about SEO tutorials, last but not least I wrote about SEO, I wrote it in August, but I published it in September, so it’s been around 2 months since I haven’t written SEO stuff, shame also actually considering the nature of my blog which has SEO frills, please understand because lately I prefer to write about general information, rather than writing articles about SEO. But somehow on this cool morning I’m interested in writing SEO articles again.

Earlier I wanted to say that the article or SEO Guide I specialize this for new friends Learn SEO or in other words it is SEO Tips for Beginners, that means for the SEO expert and Master SEO Indonesia, I hope not to read it seriously, because I am afraid your knowledge will drop 1 Level.

OK, enough of the ado, we are back to the topic, according to the title above, I will explain to friends about how How to Improve SEO Blogs and the Web are good and true in Google’s eyes. A little description of what we will study:

Learn How To SEO On-Page:

  • Keyword Density
  • Site Speed
  • Domain Extensions

Learn How To Off-Page SEO:

  • Quality Backlinks
  • Social Signals (Facebook Like, Twitter Share, Gplus +1)

Next, I will explain one by one about the five things above, deliberately I did not mention about the template, because basically whatever template model you use (1, 2, 3 columns), as long as it contains H1 tags that are not double, you could say SEO. OK, let’s start the first discussion.

On-Page SEO Guide

There are many factors in On-Page SEO, which Google uses to rank a site, but I just summarize, which ones “seem” Myth and which are close to Facts.

  1. Keyword Density
    Keyword Density

When writing articles, what percentage of Keyword Density do you apply? 2%? 7% or maybe> 10%? To be honest, I myself have never calculated how many keyword density (kd) in an article I have written, apart from not having the tools, also because I don’t really care about KD, the important term is that my article can be read comfortably by visitors.

And Goolge itself does not use the benchmark (percentage) Keyword Density and includes it in the ranking factor, or in other words any Keyword Density will not help your site rise to the top. Top Ranking 1 of GoogleIn fact, if you are too busy to insert the keywords you are aiming for in each word, get ready to be hit by a bat from Google, because it is considered as Keyword Stuffing.

So my advice, when writing articles, you don’t need to bother targeting the percentage of keyword density, and most importantly, don’t chase your keyword density percentage until you enter your keyword at the beginning of a paragraph or article, I think personally it doesn’t help your SEO blog. , and in fact it will result in the article being unprofessional, in the end the reader is lazy to read.

  2. Site Speed
    Site Speed

Load your blog or website heavily? afraid it will impact the SEO of your Blog / Website? from now on you don’t need to worry, because site speed is again not a factor used by Google to rank a Web or Blog.

However, site speed also determines the indexing speed of a website or blog, the lighter the size, the faster it will be indexed by Google, as far as I know, this is because Google Spiders or Bots are easier to crawl your site.

So do you have to lighten up your site to get a better ranking on Google? once again in my opinion it is not necessary, but if you want visitors to feel at home circling (exploring) your Blog / Web, then I suggest you replace the template on your site with a lighter one.

  3. Domain Extensions
    Domain Extensions

What are domain extensions? web dot id (, co dot id (, dot id (.id) and so on, that is what is called a domain extension. And it is said that the domain will make your search superior in the SERP (Search Engine Results Page), but is it true? I personally think that is true provided we have a target visitor or local search ( but if we talk about SERP International ( then Local Domain Extensions such as and will not help your site got a better ranking on Google.

So, should you use a local domain to improve the SEO of your blog / website? I personally think if your target is local visitors then go for it.

The three ways of on-page SEO above if you apply them properly and correctly, it is still not enough if you are competing on keywords that have heavy competitors, therefore Off-Page SEO is needed to boost the position of your blog or website on Google.

Off-Page SEO Guide

It is not enough if you only rely on On-Page SEO, because in keywords with tough competition, you really need the role or intervention of Off-Page SEO, this aims to ‘smooth’ your Blog / Website to page one of Google.

Broadly speaking there are two things you should pay attention to in Off-Page SEO, and these two things are:

  1. Quality Backlinks
    Quality Backlinks

In the previous article I have explained what quality backlinks are, and how to get quality backlinks, I have thoroughly discussed the things related to backlinks, and of course I will not explain them again in this article, because you can read them completely and clearly. about quality backlinks here How to Get Quality Backlinks.

  2. Social Signals (Facebook Like, Twitter Share, Gplus +1)
    Social Signal

Do you still believe social signals like Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus are able to boost your Blog / Website’s position on Google? if yes, then you are wrong, because Google was represented by Matt Cutt saying:

We like standards that are available on the open web. If we’re not able to crawl something – like Facebook or like the time we temporarily ran into problems with Twitter – we don’t want to depend on that data.

The point is Google can’t see how many or how many Facebook Likes you get, or how many Twitter shares. So Google doesn’t use something that Google Bot can’t access to be included in the Ranking Factor.

But we can make the backlinks provided by Facebook as Tier 2 which is very powerful to improve the SEO of our Blog (also read: What is Link Tier ?).

So, the conclusion ? keep sharing your articles to Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus (get the backlink) but don’t bother to buy +1 services or Facebook Fanpage Like Services for the purposes of improving the SEO of your Blog or Website, but order their services for other purposes, for example to show off to your friends maybe.

All the articles above have absolutely no intention of being ignorant let alone patronizing, to be honest I wrote the above article in addition to sharing information about SEO with friends who are new to SEO as well as for my needs to shoot keywords’SEO Way‘on Google, just pray that this article can get to Page 1 of Google, hopefully it can rank 1.

I think that’s all Complete Guide to SEO Blogs & Websites that I can share with you, and hopefully what is said above can be of benefit, and finally I say good luck and see you at the author.
