Vivo is reportedly working on a 200W charging support that may come with iQoo 10 Pro.
The fast charging support of 100W-plus chargers is catching on, considering the great time, resources and energy that many companies are expending on it. In fact, mobile companies like Xiaomi, and Vivo are prepping to even leave the 150W mark behind and instead, bring faster charging support. Vivo is reportedly working on a 200W charger that is speculated to come with the rumored iQoo 10 Pro smartphone. Though there is no official confirmation on this, popular tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that iQoo 10 Pro may come with 200W charging capabilities. In a post shared on the Chinese social media network Weibo, the tipster shared that Vivo is working on a 200W charger which is currently in the production line stage with model number V2001L0B0-CN (CN might stand for China).
As per the leaks, the charging adapter would provide 20V at 10A with a maximum output of 200W as well as wireless chargers with 20V at 3.25A rates, translating to 65W. While iQoo 10 Pro is expected to arrive by the end of this year, we can also expect the next Vivo X series line up i..e, Vivo X90 to come up with the 200W charging adapter in the future.
Charging support above 100 watt is not a new thing in the industry as we have already seen iQoo 9 Pro, Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge and Realme GT Neo 3 with charging support between 100W-200W. The Realme GT Neo 3 has introduced its UltraDart Charging Architecture (UDCA), which delivers charging speed between 100 W-200W but limits it to 150W due to safety concerns. Well, as of now Realme GT Neo 3 delivers the world’s fastest charging speed, however, Vivo might soon claim the title.
As for the iQoo 10 Pro, there isn’t much known about the smartphone’s features and specifications. Rumors suggest that it could arrive by the end of this year. It is speculated to come with top-of-the-line hardware.
