Thomas Shaw Reimels, 75 of Cape Neddick, Maine handed absent on July 27, 2020, just after a long fight with Alzheimers. Tom was born in Plymouth, Mass on January 7, 1945 to Herbert S. and Celia H. Smith Reimels.
He graduated from Middleboro Significant School and discovered the worth of tough function on the family’s cranberry bogs and at the local dairy farm. He acquired an Associates degree from Wentworth Institute of Technological know-how and a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from UMass-Dartmouth. He married his significant faculty sweetheart, Brenda Pollard in 1965. They had two kids, Scott and Wendy. They developed a heat and loving property in Cape Neddick where by they have resided for 48 decades. He experienced a very long and distinquished career at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard from 1968-2004, wherever he mentored lots of young engineers. Over the program of his career at the Shipyard he donated nine gallons of blood to the American Crimson Cross Just after retirement he proudly labored with his son Scott performing carpentry.
Tom’s biggest pleasure was his family. He never ever missed a match or event for his children and incredibly couple for his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of approximately 55 yrs, Brenda his son Scott and his wife, Jayme and their kids, Silas, Sawyer and Noel, his daughter Wendy Bedell, her husband Jason and their three little ones, Logan, Hayden and Regan, a brother Robert Reimels and his wife Cheri and a sister, Linda Gordon and her spouse Rick.
Calling hours for loved ones and friends will be held from 1 to 4pm on Sunday, August 2nd in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Dwelling, 91 Extended Sands Rd., York, Maine.
A Celebration of Lifestyle is planned for a later date.
