Uniqlo celebrates Doraemon’s 50th anniversary with a line of T-shirts

Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the lovely anime and manga character Doraemon with a new batch of T-shirts for little ones and grown ups. The Doraemon assortment, section of Uniqlo’s UT line of graphic tees, will be out there for obtain in merchants and on the web beginning on July 13.

Doraemon is a robot cat from the 22nd century who travels back again in time to help a small boy named Nobita Nobi improve his future situations and these of his descendants. Like a cross among Meowth and Inspector Gadget, Doraemon has a pouch from which he generates futuristic devices that he uses to assist Nobita.
